Introduction
A few days ago, I had the privilege of speaking at the World Business Forum (WOBI) in Madrid—one of the most inspiring global platforms on leadership, transformation, and the future of work.
As speakers like Adam Grant and Brené Brown shared powerful ideas about generosity, courage, and human connection, I had the opportunity to present my keynote:
“Leading with Confidence: Wellbeing with Impact.”
The core message of my talk was simple but deeply urgent:
In the age of artificial intelligence, true effectiveness doesn’t come from technology. It comes from people.
Today, leaders need more than technical skills. They need the ability to inspire trust, nurture wellbeing, and build human-centered cultures in environments that change faster than ever before.
Because it’s not change that unsettles us—
it’s the speed of change.
Why Human Leadership Matters More Than Ever

For decades, companies have trained executives to analyze data, optimize processes, and control outcomes.
All of this is useful.
But not enough.
The leadership we need now requires something deeper:
understanding the psychology, emotions, and behavior of people.
Emotional intelligence, neuroscience, and organizational psychology are no longer soft skills—they are the new strategic advantage. A leader who knows how humans think, feel, and connect will outperform any algorithm.
The 3H Model: Heart, Habit, and Harmony

In my keynote, I shared my human-centered leadership framework—the 3H Model, three levers every leader needs to activate to build trust and sustainable impact:
🔴 1. Heart – Emotions that Create Connection
Leading with heart is not about being nice or soft.
It’s about being human: listening deeply, showing empathy, and creating psychological safety.
Trust begins when leaders dare to be real—acknowledging mistakes, sharing learnings, and inviting others to do the same.
🟢 2. Habit – Mindsets that Shape Behavior
We don’t lead through intentions; we lead through habits.
Habits shape our ability to adapt, navigate conflict, and respond to uncertainty.
Thinking like a scientist—as Adam Grant suggests—means questioning assumptions, seeking evidence, and staying open to new possibilities.
Leaders who cultivate learning habits create cultures that grow stronger with every challenge.
🟡 3. Harmony – Connecting with Others to Collaborate
Harmony is not about avoiding conflict.
It’s about fostering relationships where people feel valued, heard, and able to contribute.
When leaders build informal networks, encourage collaboration, and nurture psychological safety, teams become more creative, resilient, and aligned.
Harmony is where connection becomes performance.
How to Build a Culture of Trust and Wellbeing

During my talk, I shared practical strategies that leaders can put into action immediately:
✔ Fuel intrinsic motivation
Move from “what you must do” to “why this matters.”
✔ Strengthen informal networks
Innovation often begins in spontaneous conversations—not formal meetings.
✔ Encourage continuous feedback and coaching
A leader who listens learns.
A team that exchanges feedback grows.
✔ Build psychologically safe communities
Where people can contribute ideas, take risks, and support each other.
Human leadership is not a technique.
It’s an attitude.
A way of seeing people not as resources—but as energy, creativity, and potential in motion.
Shared Inspiration from WOBI
Hearing Adam Grant talk about hidden potential, generosity (givers), scientific thinking, and reinvention was deeply aligned with my message.
His reminder that confidence comes after action—not before—resonated with many leaders in the room.
And Brené Brown’s reflections on courage and vulnerability highlighted a truth we often forget:
Courage is impossible without vulnerability.
Their insights amplified my own conclusion:
trust is not demanded—it’s cultivated.
Leading in Unpredictable Times: What Leaders Must Do Next

If leaders want to thrive in the age of AI, they must make one fundamental shift:
From controlling to connecting.
Here are the leadership shifts we explored:
- Replace perfectionism with learning
- Replace pressure with purpose
- Replace command-and-control with listening-and-coaching
- Replace fear with psychological safety
- Replace isolation with collaboration
- Replace ego with humility
The organizations that succeed will not be those with the best technology—
but those where people flourish to implement effectively and ethically tecnology.
The Future of Leadership Is Deeply Human
Leading with confidence in unpredictable times requires going back to what makes us human:
empathy, clarity, connection, humility, authenticity.
AI can process data.
But only human leaders can spark belonging, create meaning, and build trust.
The future of leadership won’t be only rational.
It will be emotional
