Then he moved to Australia and founded <a href=\"https:\/\/www.parmalat.com.au\/\">Longwarry Food Park<\/a> producing milk for the Asian market. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Overcoming several challenges, Longwarry was regularly in the news as the recipient of awards including the Fastest Growing Business in Australia in 2008.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\"><strong>His humility and determination made Rakesh a hero to the media<\/strong>: `The man who ignored the banks and turned a mothballed milk factory in Longwarry into a successful export-oriented dairy manufacturer has sold his company for $67 million, \u00b4 reported local newspaper the <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><i>Baw Baw Citizen<\/i><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Rakesh followed the 3 Hs of authentic leadership:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><span lang=\"en-US\"><i>Heart<\/i><\/span><\/strong><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> \u2013 When I asked how he keeps his employees motivated, he underscores one key factor: <strong>`being part of a successful business story is the key, \u00b4<\/strong> he says. Employees at Longwarry are looked up to by their neighbors and friends. They are part of its success.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a name=\"_GoBack\"><\/a><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><span lang=\"en-US\"><i>Habit<\/i><\/span><\/strong><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> \u2013 Rakesh has a growth mindset. <strong>He invites employees to experiment and look beyond existing boundaries<\/strong>. He explains how being an innovator was key for success. \u2018In big companies, people tend to be risk averse, while in my own business I could afford to take risks, \u00b4 he says. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><span lang=\"en-US\"><i>Harmony<\/i><\/span><\/strong><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> \u2013 Even under the most difficult circumstances, <strong>Rakesh held into his social entrepreneurial spirit, by pursuing not just his own interests<\/strong>, but seeking to make a long-lasting impact on his business and future generations. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Thanks to my fellow panelists for their insights. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">I was most impressed by the story and humility of<\/span><\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=qtpCJR7Q81w\">Arjun Kalyanpur<\/a>, CEO of <a href=\"https:\/\/telradsol.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Teleradiology Solutions<\/a> in India. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">After studying in the United States, he has been running this successful business for 17 years.
