Brilliant minds that shared inspirational stories of life and work.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The challenge was to summarize <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><i>Yours Truly<\/i><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> leadership in just 15 minutes, but here are the key points:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">You don\u00b4t need to create a character to be a successful leader. Leadership beings with yourself.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">Authenticity is the essence of leadership.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">People demand leaders to be authentic: knowing their strengths and limitations, being consistent with their values, and behaving in accord to a moral code.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">The trust gap between leaders and followers is widening \u2013 the credibility of leadership is in crisis.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">Leaders are over-glorified, we need a revolution of leadership \u2013no more superheroes. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">Develop your own leadership style \u2013Be yourself, not a copy of others.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><a name=\"_GoBack\"><\/a><span lang=\"en-US\">The 3 Hs of Authentic Leadership \u2013Heart\/Habit\/Harmony- can help you develop your authenticity and break 3 myths.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">Heart \u2013Be yourself\u2026 with passion but humility.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">Habit \u2013Be yourself\u2026 but learn and improve every day.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">Harmony \u2013Be yourself\u2026 but care about others\u00b4 wellbeing.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">Test your authenticity \u2013 take the quiz.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\"><strong>Remember, to become an authentic leader you don\u00b4t need to fall into the mentality of a super-hero.
